Zaizi founder Aingaran Pillai named chair of techUK’s Security and Public Safety SME Forum
Aingaran Pillai, CEO and Founder of Zaizi, has been appointed the new Chair of techUK’s Security and Public Safety SME Forum.
As the CEO and founder of an SME, Ainga’s been a long-time advocate for SME involvement in government digital services. For nearly 20 years, Zaizi has helped government organisations in the national security space design, build, and sustain user-centred digital services.
Ainga was elected from a shortlist of candidates put forward by techUK.
The forum provides a dedicated platform for SMEs operating across the national security, justice, and emergency services sectors. It supports members in building connections, fostering collaboration with peers, and engaging with key government and industry stakeholders.
Ainga will champion reducing barriers to entry and expanding opportunities for SMEs to foster innovation, improve outcomes for citizens, and help government deliver its ambitious digital agenda.
Breaking down barriers for SMEs
“I am honoured to be selected as the Chair of the techUK Security and Public Safety SME Forum,“ said Ainga.
“This is a critical time for government and the public sector, with both unprecedented challenges and a golden opportunity to drive national efficiency through digital reform and AI.
“As an SME founder, my focus will be on ensuring that innovative, mission-led smaller suppliers have a level playing field to contribute their expertise. We must collaborate to break down the barriers in procurement and fully harness the agility of SMEs to build secure, user-centred digital services that truly make the UK the best and safest place to live and work.
“Digital Government is hard, but by working together, we will succeed in delivering impactful outcomes.”
