CyNam’s summer headline event, ‘In Machines We Trust’, explores how trust is built, tested, and often assumed in machine‑driven environments. Drawing on cross-disciplinary perspectives, the event examines autonomy, accountability, and control and what it takes to move beyond confidence based on use alone. In a world where machines are no longer just tools, but actors, trust must be engineered, not assumed.
