Zaizi’s ScanApp collaboration with Border Force features in IBMATA magazine
Zaizi’s work on ScanApp features in the latest issue of Borders Management Today, a publication run by an organisation that brings together government border agencies.
The magazine, published by The International Border Management and Technologies Association (IBMATA), features a deep dive into the success of the solution we developed in collaboration with the UK Border Force in its February 2026 edition.
ScanApp has transformed freight clearance from a manual, paper-heavy process into a streamlined, award-winning digital operation.
In the article, Border Force Programme Director Darren Hart MBE explains how by digitising and modernising legacy processes, ScanApp has laid the foundation for AI integration.
The feature also looks at:
- Maximalist screening: How ScanApp allows for higher security without disrupting the flow of trade.
- User-centred design: The importance of building solutions around the needs of frontline officers
- Integrating AI: Exploring how AI can help officers make faster, more accurate decisions using ScanApp
Darren also gives tips on what organisations considering taking a similar modernisation project need to do.
